Allan J. Wulz
Former West Allis Central teacher Allan Wulz and his wife Charlotte have been married for 49 years and are the parents of five children, three boys and two girls. They enjoy the “three R's”: Relaxation, Recreation, and Retirement. Nine trips to Europe, eight trips to Hawaii, extensive travel throughout the United States, quiet reading, and a great deal of golf keep them busy.
Mr. Wulz is remembered as having taught Biology (1957-62), providing counseling (1962-1965), and becoming the WAC Director of Guidance and Counseling (1966-1969). He left WAC in 1969 to accept the position of Counseling and Guidance Director at Brookfield East High School. He retired in 1992 from a “very rewarding 36 year career in education”.
In his own words: “I look forward to seeing the 88 students I had in class in their sophomore year at WAC. I also look forward to the students I had in my homeroom 302 from 1959-1962. The class of 1962 has been `special' to me.”
His former biology students and homeroom 302 will be telling him how “special” we think he is!!! Many of us on the planning committee, former classmates that have attended the recent Fish Fry get together, and the 5:01 social group have shared stories about how his guidance and personal concern for them as his students affected their lives in very positive ways.
Mr. Wulz and his wife plan to attend the reunion Memorial Breakfast.
